IPOPI WELCOME LETTER

Dear Friends,

When we said our farewells in Prague in 2014 after a very successful meeting, it seemed that it was going to be a long time before we would meet again and here we are just 6 months away from the next ESID/INGID/IPOPI joint Biennial meeting.

This will be IPOPI's XIVth meeting and we are looking towards a strong and diverse attendance from our 56 National member Organisations from across the globe. This is your opportunity to network face-to-face with other delegates from national organisations representing patients with primary immunodeficiencies, to have the chance to learn from each other, to support, strengthen and exchange opinions, to discuss the differences in diagnosis, care and treatment, which still vary so much from region to region, even country to country. Not forgetting life-long friendships that you will make with other people involved in the PID community.  Together we can make a difference and the Biennial congress is the place to formulate the programme for the future, including the selection of new board members.

PID stakeholders, doctors, nurses, regulators, industry are all welcome to attend our sessions, except those sessions which are closed and for our members only. This congress is a great opportunity for those who wish to acquaint themselves with the work of IPOPI and the network of the National Member Organisations.

Professor Oscar de la Calle-Martin, President of this year's Biennial, has brought this meeting to the most beautiful city of Barcelona which will take place from 21-24 September 2016. Time is short, so please make your travel arrangements as soon as possible.

All of us at IPOPI are looking forward to welcoming you to this exciting meeting.

Warmest regards,

Jose Drabwell

President, IPOPI Board of Directors
